Josh Marshall of Talking Points Memo had pretty much the same reaction as I to a certain passage in the criminal complaint against Blagojevich:
“I think Blagojevich’s best defense is probably going to be an insanity defense based on the evidence of his idea that he was setting himself up to run for president by appointing himself to serve out Obama’s senate term.”
Indeed.Â

Pat,
Now what do you say you liberal? Is Blago innocent? Do all involved have the Cunningham forgiveness? Please enlighten the reader as to your views. My guess they will be very different now. Pat you cannot call it both ways so please tell your side. Maybe Blago was setup by the GOP- yeah that’s it. Obama watch out for your name.
