Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.”

Here are MORE INDICATIONS that Rod Blagojevich’s antenna doesn’t pick up all the channels.

He even thought that John Kerry would choose him as a running mate.

Blago isn’t the only member of the Liberal establishment who’s antenna “doesn’t pick up all the channels”, just the most newsworthy, at this time.

Aspirations are delusions in the United States of America? I thought our dream is that anybody can be president. Past presidents had survived much criticism and even scandals before they were elected to the Presidency. The tide in politics sometimes turns suddenly.
I’m sure we have have many Ivy league types in government who can’t imagine anyone being elected president who is not one of them. They probably beieve those persons are delusional for daring to aspire to the office of US President. Dudess_abides.

    Speaking of “delusional”…

Representative Charles Jefferson wants Blagojevich to step down temporarily, but believes the Governor deserves a fair trial. “He hasn’t sold the Senate seat, he hasn’t done any of the other things he’s talked about doing, all he’s done is talked about doing them so what do we actually have as far as evidence,” Jefferson said.

I liken that to any other conspired and calculated crime that gets thwarted by the authorities, and results in arrests.

The premeditation leads to the act.
