These photos of Barack Obama when he was a college freshman weren’t exactly suggestive of a future president of the United States.
They’re from the current issue of Time magazine, which, to no one’s great surprise, has named Obama its Person of the Year.

The “cigarette” looks homemade.
I don’t argue with the choice. Obama’s election was a historic event. We just have to wait and see if the results are good, bad, or some of each, over the next four years.

Most Presidents and president-elects are CNN-Time Man of the Year. CNN/Time worked their butt’s off to elect this guy for 2 years. Is this a trick question?

Do you think that CNN/Time worked their butts off to get people like Hitler elected also? Time has said repeatedly that the person of the year is someone who has had the most influence during the year, whether good or bad. Take a look at some of Time’s selections over its history.
