This graph is really a more representation of why the mortgage crisis cratered the financial system, among other things such as the rampant gambling on Wall Street, note I say gambling because there is very little real investment done anymore.

Mike: Typical Republican buck-passing. Nothing Republicans do is ever their own fault. I remember when conservatism once stood for accountability. But alas, no more.

Pat-I do not absolve Republicans but I do know where the majority of the fault resides and , when the economic (not political) history of this time is written, so will all. At least those who can and choose to comprehend.
