Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.”

No one wants to hear you Mr. Obama, as of yet you are unemployed, and don’t take office till Jan 20th.

Go spend Christmas with you family there at the condo. This is your first year with a Christmas tree, and giveing gifts to your children, they need your attention more during this time then we do.

Besides I am sure you have some self review to do of your admistration.

Dave says Obama has “self review to do of your admistration [sic],” even though his administration doesn’t start for another four weeks. Dave says “no one wants to hear” what Obama has to say, but his weekly radio and YouTube messages are highly popular. And then there’s the fact that more than two-thirds of Americans give Obama high marks for his transition and expect him to be a good president. Dave says this is the first Christmas on which Obama has had a tree or given gifts to his children. In other words, Dave is a sniveling little bigot. Merry Christmas, Dave. I hope you have a nice holiday there at the home.

You’ve got that right, Pat. He makes Archie Bunker look like Noam Chomsky. It looks as though Dave also suffers from an acute case of “sore loserism,” as defined by right-wingnut David Horowitz

I’m actually enjoying this time, as the MoonBats are acting like they got coal (and not “clean” coal, either) in their stocking. They seem to have lost faith in their “Messiah”, because of his mostly centrist Cabinet choices, and his choice of Rick Warren to give the invocation at his inaugural. It may be that BHO is enough of a pragmatist to realize that Leftist policies won’t fly, given current economic conditions. But, will it last, and for how long?

What do you call a 800 billion dollar stimulus package snuss? A conservative agenda.

I really don’t care for the “Your Weekly Address from the President-Elect” title. It just has a very Orwellian telescreen feel to it. I think it is the “your” part that does it…Don’t get me wrong, I would much prefer to hear something of a progress report or some address from our leaders to what we had the last 8 years, with Bush only addressing America once a year with the State of the Union or when there was a crisis… I just don’t like the title very much.
