Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.” |

Burris paid $14,000 for this seat. He’ll say or do anything to get it. This is the party of power. They will do or say anything that will help them gain power and money. This crap about Burris being so noble is just that, it’s crap. He’s a Chicago democrat and a lawyer. Being a former Attorney General you’d think he’d be smart enough to stay away from this. But he paid for the seat and he’s going to get it. Playing the race card should show people just what a low life Burris really is. It just shows he’s a racist, like Bobby (black panther) Rush.

Even when I could not pay my gas bill and had to shower in cold water three summers in a row, I managed to give $20. to candidates I believed in. Candidates must spend money to get their message out. That is the way our system works.
Burris donated to several candidates over the past six years, Blagojevich being one of them. Dudess
