dave. Before you throw stones at the Democrats you should Google, Republican criminals. I’m sure you will find as many on your side also. Nixon and Agnew come to mind. And there are many others. I also believe many in the Bush administration will be indicted soon. Paulson and Bernanke will be the first for committing fraud and theft of taxpayer money. I wouldn’t be surprised that the top man himself , GWB, gets indicted. Scams like Maddoff has been running can’t be carried out without many in the government running interference. And that is just a small slice of the corruption that has run rampant during the last 8 years.

And I guess you can’t be a Republican politician without a few indictments AND a few convictions as well, such as Jack Abramoff, Ted Stevens, Duke Cunningham, and Scooter Libby. And that’s just during the Bush administration, Sparky.
You Cons are really coming apart at the seams these days. Not only has Bush destroyed your party, but he’s also managed to somehow cripple your ability to rationally express coherent thoughts. Simply astounding!

You bozos still have not figured it out. We all send our money to Washington. Guess where all the criminals want to be. Not all of the criminals are in Washington, but all of the criminals are trying to get there. Does not matter which party they belong to.

“It is still too early to know if the investigation will find credible evidence against the governor himself, but one detail will likely escape intense media scrutiny: The investigation is a vindication for the Bush White House in its decision two years ago to fire David Iglesias, the U.S. Attorney for the district of New Mexico.
At the time, the firing of Mr. Iglesias and a handful of other U.S. attorneys became a hot button issue when Democrats and certain media outlets went wild with accusations that the White House was “playing politics” with law enforcement. Mr. Iglesias himself became a focal point in the controversy when it emerged that New Mexico Sen. Pete Domenici had pushed for his firing after finding the U.S. attorney slow in investigating political corruption in the state.
Amid the controversy, the White House never filled Mr. Iglesias’s post, allowing Mr. Iglesias’s deputy to hold the position on an interim basis. But about a year ago, a panel of federal judges acted on its own to appoint Greg Fouratt, a veteran federal prosecutor and former officer in the U.S. Air Force with New Mexico roots. Mr. Fouratt’s office isn’t commenting on the current investigation, but his willingness to press forward is a clear indication that New Mexico now has a robust anti-corruption unit in its U.S. attorney’s office, something it didn’t seem to have under Mr. Iglesias.”-from todays Wall Street Journal. Just saying.

I never did get Richardson. There doesn’t seem to be much to the guy. He showed up for the debates unprepared. Just doesn’t seem too bright. He must be an excellent schmoozer or something.
I guess we know if he is cleared of any wrongdoing and gets a job later in the Obama administration it won’t be at the State Department. I bet Hillary could come up with a couple of ideas where she would like to see him work.
