State Rep. Milton Patterson, a Chicago Democrat, is the only member of the Illinois House who voted this morning against impeachment of Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

Patterson’s REASONING is peculiar, to put it politely.

UPDATE: The Illinois Supreme Court SAYS Blago’s appointment of Roland Burris to the U.S. Senate does not require a validation signature from Secretary of State Jesse White.

Joe “The Plumber” Wurzelbacher (above), one of the intellectual heavyweights of the late McCain-Palin campaign, is taking his limitless talents to the Middle East to provide coverage of the Gaza conflict for some right-wing Web site.

Asked if he was afraid that a Hamas rocket might bring him harm, Joe RESPONDED: “Being a Christian I’m pretty well protected by God, I believe.”

Sluggish economy, city budget deficit, potholes everywhere, etc., etc.

Those are all cause for concern.
