FOX News plugs FOX shows. Of course, using a fictional character to emphasize a real issue is lame. I’m sure a literature professor or dramatist would shriek at me, but it’s best to use a real example.

So,use a real example, like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, How many lives did waterboarding him save (approximately)? In your opinion, did saving this many lives justify the methods? If not, how many lives must be at risk to justify such methods?
It was also said that we mustn’t torture, because our enemies will do the same to their captives. It seems Al-Qaida has tortured and killed almost ALL of THEIR captives. Our prisoners are well-fed, treated by doctors, and given all sorts of priveleges.

Do you mean should we toruture Khalid Sheikh Mohammed? Well, what informatrion does he have and will it be truthful? You can get anyone to tell you what you want to hear by torture– truth or not. Whatever happened to sodium amytal?
