Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.”

Has Dennis Miller ever been funny?

Two of the world’s creepiest people joke about waterboarding:

In answer to the question, NO! Very overrated on SNL too.

Dennis was good as Weekend Update anchor on SNL. You are just mad because when he finally grew up, he became intelligent and became a conservative. His radio show is now one of my favorites. Remember, Liberalism is a Mental Disorder!

Art thinks “liberalism is a mental disorder,” while he sees nothing wrong with a couple of conservative nitwits joking about torture. Typical — and pathetic.

Great, Pat is worried about some waterboarding of some terrorists. But won’t say a word about the crap that is suppose to be entertainment that comes out of Hollywood these days, that actually does permanent damage to children. Grow up Pat, I am sure you thing if would just understand the terrorist they would leave us alone.

I suppose if this wasn’t a POLITICAL blog, he just might mention that.

Well SpeckleMe, I think it does fall in the realm of a political blog since it seems like a lot of the Hollywood types are involved in politics. They were the same ones that helped get Obama elected.

Unfortunately, I can only listen to Dennis on my days off, so I have not heard him making fun of water boarding. The last time I listened to his show, one of his producers or interns had volunteered to be water boarded, but I do not know if they ever went through with it. I do not believe it is torture.

No art, waterboarding is not torture. In fact, most of the detainees requested to be waterboarded because it’s so much fun. Hell, they even had a waterboarding league and kept standings. Would you like to join their league? You can have Dingdong on your team. You two can take turns holding each other’s head under water until you pass out. Great fun!

Those of you who think waterboarding is so cool should move to a country where it’s legal. And DingDong can move to some country where they have the kind of censorship he wants imposed on Hollywood. Have good trips. Write if you get work.

Yeah Dingdong, move out of the country like all those Hollywood Hillbillys said they would if Bush got elected to a second term. Oh, that’s right, none of them left.Typical blowhard lib stuff–move out of the best country on earth. The one country that does the most for or to the world depending on your party affiliation.
