Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.” |

McCaskill asks that Wall Street “use a little common sense” and also to”tighten their belts”. She shouild also ask for a mirror for herself and her cohorts in the House and Senate. She’s just another blowhard nitwit pol.

You’re right, Billy. She’s got a lot of nerve criticizing those pigs on Wall Street. I’m guessing you’ve got no problem with their billions in bonuses after leeching off the taxpayers. After all, most of them are Republicans, and Republicans, as everyone knows, are experts at business and finance. Just look at their record over recent years,

How about those leeches we elect. Pay them the average wage of the people they represent. I wish the Dems were as smart as you believe. If they were, they could have prevented those nasty rich Republicans from destroying everything the Dems want to give away. By the way Pat you guessed wrong. Bonuses for firms taking tarp money is wrong. But all your boys and girls voted to let them take the money, no strings attached. As was said before, when Washington screams crisis, hold on to your wallet, because your friendly elected pol is looking for it.

Billy -
This whole mess is the Republican’s fault. To believe otherwise is to ignore the facts. If you don’t like our political process, and it sounds like to you don’t, move to Cuba, Mozambique, Albania or some other authoritarian country. Bush spent money like a drunken soldier and your ilk carried his water for 8 years. Your complaints about Democrats spending money is just so much BS.

Henry, Thanks for your “invitation ” to leave. Where in my post do I say I don’t like our political process? I have traveled to Cuba and it is beautiful. You should pull your head out and see some light.
