Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.”

The most amusing part of THIS PIECE by Jamison Foser is the reference to Tom Brokaw’s idiotic point that the counties carried by John McCain account for greater land mass than those carried by Barack Obama.

As Foser noted in an earlier column: “This would be meaningful, if only fields and streams and rocks and trees were conservative voters. But they aren’t: They are fields and streams and rocks and trees. They are neither liberal nor conservative; they tell us nothing about the nation’s political leanings. People tell us something about the nation’s leanings — and more people voted for Barack Obama.”

Remember where you heard it: Pittsburgh Steelers will defeat Arizona Cardinals, 33-17

I’m rarely wrong about anything. So you can take this prediction to the bank.

This is the semi-socialistic post-post-industrial economy colloquially known as “this mess”
