Even before the Bush economic collapse of 2008, American families were poorer than in 2001

In 2007, more than a year before the end of George W. Bush’s presidency and before the onset of the recent crash, the typical American family was financially WORSE OFF than when Dubya took office.

But, hey, we’re supposed to believe that Republicans know more about economics than Democrats do.  Sure they do. And it don’t rain in Indianapolis in the summertime.

  1. I say let Joe talk. It’s called free speech. As long as he keeps it clean let him state his opinion. If we don’t like what he says we’ll tell him so.
Joe re-read your comment and make sure that is what you want to say before you hit send.

We let GWB babble for 8 years didn’t we?

Can you give us a link to what you are talking about. I’d be interested in reading that. I’m trying to find a government link to the stimulus bill, maybe you could help me out. Or are you just repeating what you heard on Fox or Rush?

  4. Henry. The $30 mil for the mouse study is just another of the Republicans dirty tricks. Nothing new for them. Here’s the link you want.

  5. Thanks swamprat. Another example of the cons making stuff up. Lying to the public passes as political discourse. The country is in a deep recession, maybe headed into depression, the clowns on the right want to do nothing. Great patriots, our friends on the right.

“So, why isn’t the public allowed to review the largest spending bill in history BEFORE it is voted on?” Yeah, snuss. I agree. The Dems should post all bills before they are voted on. Just like the Republicans did from 1996 tp 2006. Every bill was posted wasn’t it, snuss? Right?
