There are six bars for each presidential administration, extending from the poorest folks on the left to the richest on the right. The percentages are adjusted for inflation.
It looks like everyone fared best under Clinton.

Your right, we better elect some more Republicans to the Senate and the house so we can get the majority. During most of those years the Republicans controlled both. So I guess you need a Dem President and Repub Congress.
It is good think that Al Gore invented the internet so that we could have the Tech boom during the Clinton administration.

Sorry Bannernews, I was never the biggest fan of Bush, he was not conservative enough. I just didn’t have many other choices. But the fact are true concerning who was in congress at the time of this growth. Also, this really is a poorly developed graph from the data. They never explained how you account for inflation. Also each President should be displayed in equal amount years. By combining Reagan and Bush you may lower the overall performance of Reagan’s years. Same for Nixon/Ford, even though that is different story.

I think we are all sorry about Bush, that includes Cheney and the Scooter.
