THIS GUY says marijuana is California’s biggest cash crop, so it might as well be legalized and taxed to save the state from fiscal ruin.
UPDATE: Now the attorney general of Arizona is TALKING ABOUT legalization of pot.

My opinion is that most drugs should be decriminalized. We have way too many people in prisons for the use of illegal drugs. Drug dealers are another story, they should be in prison.

As we lost the war on poverty we have lost the war on drugs. Legalize it and tax it.

The money used to incarcerate people could be better used in prevention and rehab and it would require much less money. Tobacco usage has gone down significantly in the last 20 years due to education.

The three great forces opposing legalization of weed are 1) the puritans among us; 2) the people who profit from crusading against it; and 3) the dealers who make big bread from selling an illegal substance. If it’s legalized, you can grow your own. For pot to be illegal while alcohol is not is insane.

Why not? The tobacco companires would love it. They need something to make money, after all the lost lawsuits.
Plus, we can blame the Democrats for the increased deaths, due to driving, or other activities, while stoned.
MADD can become MADDS (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers and Stoners )

I’m with all the conservatives on this. This war is over and we lost years ago. Regulate and tax
