Sorry I’m a day late in posting this. I was preoccupied yesterday:
Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.” |

Jon Stewart cautions the losers to pace their outrage, because there’s still a long way to go until the next election.
It’s FUNNY STUFF (but please note that it includes a few mild vulgarisms).

 Good news HERE.
UPDATE: Just hours before the rescue, Newt Gingrich FAULTED President Obama for his seemingly passive stance on the piracy incident.
UPDATE II: THIS GUY, apparently desperate to blame Obama for something in this matter,  seems upset with the president for not having physically participated in the rescue.
Yeah, he’s not only a foreign-born Muslim socialist, he’s also a coward. I say let’s burn him in effigy at this week’s Fox-sponsored tea parties.
UPDATE III: THIS OTHER GUY (a big, bad Texan, doncha know?), blames Obama for the rescue having taken so long and doubts that the president has the nerve to bomb all of Africa in retaliation against the pirates.
UPDATE IV: Over HERE, we have a right-winger who wants us to know this about the rescue (lest we get the wrong idea): “Obama will take credit for this, but he did nothing…Obama was not there, was not in direct communication with the Navy personnel onsite, and contributed nothing to the process.”
Yeah, he probably was at some Muslim prayer service or something. Or maybe he was plotting the reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine, or the disarming of ordinary Americans, or the sapping of our precious bodily fluids.
Whatever it was, Glenn Beck will let us know — in a tearful, patriotic way, of course.
UPDATE V: THIS CREATURE wonders if Obama was disappointed and angry at news of the rescue, since it probably thwarted for the time being his scheme to further weaken America.
