Obama has continued, not abandoned, most of Bush’s anti-terror policies

THIS GUY says Dick Cheney is wrong when he claims that the Obama administration has reversed most of the Bush-era policies regarding terrorism.

He’s kept some of them in tact, and abandoned others, so, I don’t entirely agree with “This Guy”.
Our President has made some true Freshman mistakes, and expectantly so.
The Air Force “fly by” in NYC (in an effort to get a photo op flying over the Statue of Liberty) was pretty insensitive (and secretive). Look at the panic it created, and the horror people faced that day. And, how much of our taxpayer money did that cost.
Let’s not forget, of course, that our President denies any knowledge of such an activity.
He’s not so transparent and forthcoming as he claims to be, but is very smart and calculated in providing a “patsy” or “fall guy” in every scenario of (either intentional or unintentional) misconduct or poor decision making that comes back on him.
The transparency isn’t, and never will be there (and the information put out to the public and media is opaque and open to denial….just as it is with any administration). President Obama’s no better, worse, or any different then any other President in recent history. Just a better speaker, and a little more charismatic.

Senate Dems will not give Obama funds to shut down Gitmo.
I have to agree with the Democrats on this decision
