Rachel Maddow offers an excellent overview of President Obama’s historic speech to the Muslim world:
Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.” |

The Republican Party’s circular firing squad remains a wonderful model of political hilarity.
THIS POLL shows that even most rank-and-file Republicans aren’t so sure that Sonia Sotomayor is the racist the Rush Limbaughs say she is.

THIS GUY says Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels (above) is a man to watch in Republican circles.
Daniels is big on dissing Baby Boomers for their selfishness. I can go along with some of that — and not just because I’m technically a pre-Boomer.

No, Applesauce isn’t on the list — not yet, anyway.
The rankings (HERE) are based on links from other blogs.
I recommend bookmarking this list; the links afford quick access to any of the blogs on the roster. And they range from very liberal to very conservative.

Nate Silver SAYS there would be great fiscal benefits in imposing really heavy fines for drunk driving.

Joe Conason concisely EXPOSES Rush Limbaugh and Pat Buchanan for what they truly are — sniveling bigots.
