 We have a new contestant in the informal competition for the title of Dumbest Member of Congress.
 It’s Todd Akin, a Republican from Missouri who’s not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer.
 Just the other day, Akin took to the floor of the House to express his worry that fiddling with climate change might spell the end of such wondrous natural events as the change of winter to spring.
 No, seriously. He actually said that. Check it out HERE.
 Check out, too, Akin’s campaign poster above. Is he trying to liken himself to Washington, Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt and Lincoln?
 It wouldn’t surprise me.
