Glenn Beck gives affirmative nod to guest who wants Osama bin Laden to attack America again

 Just when I think guys like this can’t get any nuttier, they PROVE ME WRONG.
 Imagine the kind of howls we would hear if some liberal TV host played patty-cake with a guest who said he wants Osama bin Laden “to deploy and detonate a major weapon in the United States.”
 UPDATE: Speaking of Osama bin Laden, The New Yorker SAYS he visited America for a few weeks in 1979.
 UPDATE II: Several of our Applesauce commenters want us to believe that Glenn Beck disagreed with, or somehow disowned, Michael Scheuer’s stated wish for another terrorist attack on America.
 But that’s not what happened.
 Scheuer said that “only Osama can execute an attack which will force Americans to demand that their government protect them effectively, consistently, and with as much violence as necessary.”
 Beck’s immediate response was this: “Which is why, I was thinking this weekend, if I were him, that would be the last thing I would do right now.”
 Beck wasn’t disagreeing with Scheuer. Quite the opposite. He was merely saying that Osama would be a fool to arouse the kind of American anger that Scheuer said would follow another attack. That’s why he said “if I were him.”

Now, skip to the last 10 seconds. Beck (roughly) states “If he were Osama bin Laden attacking America is the last thing I would do right now.”
In order words, you ignorant Socialists, Beck is >b>NOT calling for an attack. In fact, he is condemning it. Perhaps his loony guest speaker is, but no one really cares about him.

I agree with the 2 comments above. You are so wrong its sad. I like Glenn Beck because of his common sense thinking which is completely gone in the US government these days. Why don’t you listen to his show sometime - you’ll learn what is really going on. Glenn Beck is NOT calling for an attack. Quite frankly, he wants the complete opposite. WAKE UP America before its too late. For those of you that voted for Obaman - you wanted change and you’re really getting it now….
He is lying to your face daily but you can’t see it. Just wait - you will regret he is in office and completing destroying this great country. Again, watch his show - you learn the real truth.

It was Osama that said electing Obama president that help his causes.

America did wake up, Sparky — last November, when the American electorate solidly repudiated your failed conservative ideology. I typically refrain from using all caps, but how many times do you Cons have to be schooled: YOUR TWISTED IDEOLOGY IS THE REASON OUR COUNTRY IS IN THE MESS IT’S IN! You guys gave Bush two terms to show us the beauty of conservatism, and it turned into a horrific nightmare. Bush not only destroyed your party, he nearly took the country with him.

Anyone who thinks a terrorist attack is what it’s going to take to “wake America up”, let alone call for it, needs to be taken off of all media.
How is the loss of countless innocent American lives the “Wake up call” that we need?
There are things that this administration needs to see for what they are (like Iran), and they’re coming around (albeit hopefully not too late).
