Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.” |

Spare us the sanctimony, Richard. Your brand of Christianity is just one among thousands, and they don’t all embrace the same views on matters of faith and morals. For instance, there are millions of devout Christians who take the pro-choice view regarding abortion.
As for what you call “the sacrament of marriage,” that’s your label, not mine. I think of marriage as an institution in which couples are joined in a kind of social and legal dependence. Some people enter this institution through religious ceremonies, and some don’t. Vive le difference.
And as for my posts about Mark Sanford, nobody’s forcing you to read them.

Any “Christian” that claims to be “pro-life” had better ALSO be against the death penalty…
