Theories on the reasons for and effects of Palin’s resignation vary widely

So why is Sarah Palin quitting as governor of Alaska before finishing even one term in office?

From the left and right alike, speculation is all over the place.

Some say Palin WANTS OUT of politics.

Some say a MAJOR SCANDAL looms.

Some folks have 10 DIFFERENT THEORIES from which to choose.

GOP strategist Ed Rollins worries that this isn’t good for the Republican Party, as we see here:

Personally, I think Sarah Palin is treated with more negative attention than she deserves. She has been in the public spotlight after the election for pretty much nothing.
I don’t think she’s a qualified national candidate but her national candidacy ended. I’m not sure this piece was deserved.

Now compare the characiture of Palin to the flatering pices on the Kennedys– “Unseen Camelot.”

Yes, even though “The Media” isn’t liberal, there are liberals in the media with what Bernie Goldberg calls “a slobbering love affair” with some dems especially the Kennedys..

I’ve been LMAO today watching the crossover newsmodels from the Fox Out-of-Business Channel leading the “You Go Girl!” cheers. They’re absolutely right — she has far too much talent to waste it as the governor of Alaska. A political genius of her caliber belongs nowhere else but the White House.

There’s little doubt that Rupert Murdoch has got the Fox News copywriters working overtime on the holiday weekend to come up with a great script for the “exclusive” interview that she’s bound to give to Hannity or Greta sometime next week.

On behalf of Libs everywhere, Cons, THANK YOU for the Christmas-in-July present!!

Well, I’m off to my first tea party. I’ll be sure to let you guys know how many “PALIN 2012″ signs I see.

I really don\’t understand why liberals hate Palin so much. I mean seriously, is she really a threat to your way of life? I guess I can understand the hatred toward Bush/Cheney….but Palin? What did she really do that is so bad?

  5. Mr. Funfsinn says:

They hated Bush this much. Their hatred started November 2000. Actually, I would have to say before that. Their hatred had nothing to do with a war as they hated him well before that, but it was because he had a core of belief. I never understood hatred of an administration before it even took office, but I do understand that the hatred throughout the administration existed well before he too office. Karl Rove speculates that because of his accent he was looked upon differently, even though Texas has demonstrated itself as the most foreward thinking state of the modern, free trade era.

Neftali, we persecute Sarah Palin because she\’s a Christian. Nothing other than that.

  7. realfoxnews says:

As I thought MSNBC had something to do with this story. What NO TRUTH they said, and she may sue they say. You go girl take down those SOB and Mr. Kieth.

  8. shawnnews says:

Coidhotel– what a joke. Persecuted Christians? Christians enjoy every freedom in this country, own the proerty, businesses and most importantly have every office of federal, state and local government. The Tim LaHaye’s and Jerry Jemkins, and Jack Van Impe’s of the world really have you fooled.

  9. shawnnews says:

Frank Schaeffer on right-wing junk ideology peddled to Christians.

  10. coldhotel says:

All kidding aside, some Christians in this country do believe that they are being persecuted because of their faith. I think they may be caught up in some fantasy of what it would be like to be a first century Christian.

Of course I can’t speak for all liberals (and I’m not so sure that I’m actually a liberal), but I think it should be pointed out that Palin actually started the hatin’ at the Republican convention, and kept at it during the campaign. She seemed to revel in stoking up the anger at campaign rallies.

She also seems totally uninterested in governance. I have no idea why someone with her philosophy and lack of intellectual curiosity would seek a state governorship, let alone higher office. I think Alaskans should be relieved that she is stepping aside, since she has stated that she would just “milk it” if she served out her term.

  11. realfoxnews says:

Coldhotel it started before that. Just think few years ago nobody knew who BOBO was. He could not even get tickets to the big show for the Dems. Do your history on Sara if your a Dem watch out.
