Chris Wallace, self-styled tough interviewer, waxes wimpy with El Rushbo

Proving that he’s nothing like his old man, Chris Wallace treated Fox News viewers to a game of PATTY-CAKE with Rush Limbaugh this morning.

Do you mean, the same way the MSM treats The Messiah?
Of course, since President Obama refuses to be interviewed by Fox, we will never know if he would be treated with the same courtesy. What political quakebuttocks you Far-Leftists are.

Pat, I’m sure in your career in journalism you have met people who wanted the questions you are going to ask presented to them ahead of time — for whatever reason. That’s probably how Wallace got the interview. Hopefully, his dad, Mike, would have a fit.
Limbaugh entire career is about putting up the illusion that everyone agrees with him in his “non-guested confrontation” format show. Say what you want about Sean Hannity, Michael Medved and others — on their radio shows they will have people who disagree with them. They can hold their own against criticism. Limbaugh can’t. I think people who listen to his show just do it to reinforce their opinions without analysis.
Snuss, Neftali, mike, gowader, expdoc, richard and the other conservatives on this blog have ten times the courage Limbaugh does because they will go back and forth defending their positions and take (although probably not like) the responses from the liberal ones.
Limbaugh has a lot to learn from you guys.

shawnnews: Nobody ever asked me for the questions ahead of time, but there were occasions prior to television or radio interviews when I was asked in general terms about what the subject matter would be. My responses always were broadly general. But neither did I sandbag anybody. I never pretended that the interview would be just softball questions about trivial matters and then hit the guy with a tough one. If there were going to be tough questions, I simply mentioned the subject beforehand (if asked) without specifying the exact wording of the questions. To be honest, however, I never liked to play gotcha, and I never participated in any ambush interviews. I don’t like that stuff.

I liked the interview. Appreciated his concern for America.

Limbaugh\’s \"concern for America?\" Are you kidding? Limbaugh\’s only concern is for Limbaugh and his next $200 million contract. When will you GOPers wake up and realize that Limbaugh is just a fear-mongering entertainer to whom you\’ve hitched your wagon as the de facto leader of your party. Honestly, with Huckabee, Limbaugh, Hannity, O\’Reilly, Beck and Palin as your de factor standard bearers, I think the GOP is going to be in the wilderness for a while.

“Appreciated his concern for America.”
I don’t get what Limbaugh’s concern for America is. All throught the Clinton administration Limbaugh insinuated Clinton killed Vince Foster and Ron Brown. Then during the Bush administration he was one of the morons accusing liberals of embolddening the terrorists. One of the stupid quotes I remember from him was something like “How dare you citicize the commander in chief during a time of war” when Rushbo did it incessantly. The guy isn’t anyone to admire unless you admire people who play fast and loose with the truth not once in a while but every weekday for more than 20 years.

Shawn write: I don’t get what Limbaugh’s concern for America is
And you unfortunately never will, along with all the other libs. If you can’t see how your ideals have ripped this country to shreds by now….you never will. SAD.

mike: Why do you hate America? And why do you favor a military coup? Traitor!
9. mike | November 2nd, 2009 at 11:31 am
Won’t need a coup. Satanist election losses begin tommorrow and will continue into 2010. Thank God.
Why do you support Chicago gangsters and Maoist radicals Pat? Because at heart you are one, that’s why. Where is all the job growth in Rockford from the messiahs so called 650,000 Pat? Surely you have THAT answer since you are so superiorly more intelligent than the rest of us.
Were your bony knees shaking watching Limbaugh tell it like it is? You were thinking, man I’m glad I’m not trying to debate that genius, he’d destroy me. WHEEEEW. Have you officially apologized to Rush Limbaugh for publishing lies about him?
Has anyone from the pentagon been lurking in your backyard yet? CIA?

The country isn’t in shreds. The country is the same as it always has been — when the dems aren’t in power they’re grumpy, when the Republicans aren’t in power they think the sky is falling. Guess what? The economic meltdown happened while conservatives were calling liberals soft on terror and focusing on Bill Ayers and ACORN.
I’ll bet you the prophecy hucksters will find ways to insert the democrats in the story of Revelation like every other world leader or political philosophy they don’t like.
I think Limbaugh’s alleged concern for America is that people will see him for what he is and the Republicans won’t give him good seats at the convention anymore.
You should read my first post — I included you in a compliment. That will probably be all for a few months so enjoy!

The tide is turning, even CBS is waking up. They have shown that the administration’s stimulus job numbers are way off (lying). But I bet it will be a while before NBC shows signs of actually seeing reality.
12. shawnnews | November 2nd, 2009 at 6:58 pm
That’s really vauge DD. “They have shown that the administration’s stimulus job numbers are way off (lying).”
First of all you don’t cite the original number, second, you don’t cite the actual ones, third, you imply that the supposed error is by purposeful deception rather than poor calculations. Of course, we don’t know if there’s any error at all since you don’t cite anything.
13. expdoc | November 2nd, 2009 at 7:09 pm
Anytime the standard is jobs “created or saved” you know they are lying.

Why is it that in nearly every topic on Applesauce, all the Cons conveniently ignore the fact that Obama’s been in office for only 10 months.? Economics and policy changes are two things that rarely happen quickly. Give it time. If we’re still talking about problems in a year, then pin it on Obama. Until then, all this, “U.S. is in shambles and it’s all Obama’s fault,” is a joke. We just ended 8 years of GOP rule; gonna take a while for new stuff to take hold.

Monkey conveniently forgets that the Dems were in control of Congress for two years BEFORE The Messiah was elected.
