Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.” |

Yeah, sure. Where did this data come from? I went to the website of origin and could not find the source of the data. Also in the second map it indicates 452 for EV? Last time I checked we still used secret ballot. The same idiot who wrote this also advocates legalizing all illegals so that they can legally vote. The “progressives” will do anything to try to gain and keep power even to the point of subjugating its citizens to another country by allowing unlimited immigration from another country.

DingDong: The source of the data is the exit polls that all the major media use. “EV” stands for “electoral votes.” In this context, projections are made as to how many electoral votes would have accrued to Obama if, in the one case, only white men had voted, or, in the other case, no white men had voted.
These exit polls give the media and political scientists the data from which they determine how men, women, blacks, whites, Catholics, young people, etc. voted in the election. Both parties and virtually everyone in the business of politics use this exit-poll data.
Your rant about illegal immigrants is totally irrelevant to the data reflected in the maps I published here.

Not all of us white men voted wrong so maybe there’s still hope for us in the long run.
I’d also like to see this broken down by the age of the white men. Are younger white men more tolerant of other races leading us or about the same?

How do you know that you voted right? Because the guy you voted for won? That’s a rather presumptuous opinion since he has only been in office 1 year.
It’s a great liberal post though and goes exactly to what I posted on another thread today. If you are white and you didn’t vote for Obama you are a racist, get over it.
I’m not sure what that means for the non-whites who did not vote for Obama… what do we call them?

So now, this is telling us that we are racists if we did not vote for Obama? This is what QuentinK is insinuating. So conversely, if you are black and voted for Obama your a racist.
Pat, the remark about illegal immigrants was an example of the persons opinion relating to credibility and reasoning.

Nah, I admit I was baiting you guys a bit. I would be willing to bet that racism runs higher in those states with the lowest percentage of white men voting for Obama however. But I do NOT think that racism is the sole reason for this. Even in these states I would imagine the main reason is idealogical. I also admit they are many who will go out of their way to NOT vote for the white guy regardless of his stand on their issues. This may become a problem in the future.

The current white progressive, tofu eating, hybrid drivin, earring wearing “men” have skewed the polls unfortunately. You would be popular in Madison, Pat. Take your sandals, bong, unicycle, and and double chin-strap helmet. Yes, Q, the 20’s “men” are popular there too.

OH BOY … WE HAVE ANOTHER “N” WORD.
MSNBC anchor Carlos Watson had this little gem for listeners last Monday:
“..you start to wonder whether in fact the word socialist is becoming a code word, whether or not socialist is becoming the new N-word for frankly for some angry upset birthers and others.”
No surprise there. After all, haven’t we learned that any criticism leveled at The Community Organizer has to be based on nothing but the fact that he’s a black man in the White House. It’s ALL racist; not just using the “socialist” word, but ALL criticism. Get used to it. It’s really pretty simple … if you don’t believe that government is what makes America great .. you’re a racist. Now you know.
