THIS seems pretty significant.

Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.” |

So does this mean we’ll be seeing bumper stickers in the near future that read:
“You Can’t be against Health Care AND be a Catholic”

Will there be Catholic bishops suggesting that Catholic politicians who vote against the health care reform should be denied communion or ex-communicated?

Sorry David. As Pat can attest, Wing-nut Avenue is a one way affair.

mike, richard and a few other guys on the board will have to call the diocese and complain about its socialism.

When the new CONSERVATIVE bible comes out there are going to be new apostles to straighten this all out. They haven’t released much of it yet but two of them have leaked out, Bubba replaces John as he was using the baptists’ river for plating refuse, a real industry. He has a nice diatribe about NOT helping your fellow man. None of that liberal “reach out to th poor crap” for him. The other one is called Shemp but I don’t know who he is going to replace just yet.

Women who want abortions will always have them one way or another. Why should that fact keep everyone else from having lifesaving healthcare?

They endorse the availability of health care to everyone regardless of socioeconomic factors, however their stance is, and I agree with them, that abortions should not be a tax payer provided service, should this bill be passed.
That, as long as it is legal, should be a private service and paid out of pocket. A lot of tax payers don’t want their money spent that way. And, since it is our tax dollars paid in, we do have a say. It doesn’t mean they’ll listen, mind you, but we do have a say.

If your catholic like my self. Look where are money has gone in the last few years. So the Church should stay out of this. They are no better. They say its ok to protect sex offenders.

realfoxnews you are growing on me.
Abortion seems to get all the news but my question is will the health bill cover medical marijuana users?
10. realfoxnews | November 8th, 2009 at 11:24 am
well its the truth Joe, I would love to try medical marijuana instead of taking 32 pills a day since my accident.
11. echo4charlie | November 9th, 2009 at 7:11 am
Good question. And how does one, and I’m asking for a friend, go about becoming a medical marijuana user?

Whatever happened to the Far-Left’s demand for separation of Church and State? What a bunch of hypocrites you are.
