I don’t get it. How does asking for tax-deductible donation make libertarians hypocrites? Rather than asking for government hand-outs, they are trying to raise money on their own by providing a product. Seems like free-market capitalism to me.

I think the hypocisy is supposed to be that Welch is asking for handouts while he wears an expensive leather coat and tells others that they shouldn’t be asking for handouts.
