An endorsement of cannibalism?

 An interesting quotation:
If any vegans came over for dinner, I could whip them up a salad, then explain my philosophy on being a carnivore: If God had not intended for us to eat animals, how come He made them out of meat?
I’m not going to tell you who said that. Find out for yourselves. But I’ll remind you that humans are animals, and they’re made out of meat.
Oh, and if you’re wondering, I am neither a vegan nor a cannibal. Nor do I consider my carnivorism a mandate from God, which is the point I’m trying to make here (in case you didn’t get it).

Depends on whether you think the Bible is the word of God.
Genesis 9:1-3 says: “Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth. The fear and dread of you will fall upon all of the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air, upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands. Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, now I give you everything.”
