Well I lean right these days and I’m all for Christmas.
I wish it was the way it was when I was growing up and all the stores ETC where not afraid to say Merry Christmas..

You’re right, of course, but don’t try to tell that to our friends in the Fox Nation. This is just the kind of red meat that keeps the wacky and ultra-paranoid base of the GOP all riled up during what tends to be a slow news cycle between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

“Wow!! The king of Science calling me an a-hole. I am flattered.” You should be. It’s a title you’ve worked hard to earn. I certainly won’t be the one to deprive you of it. And it probably wouldn’t hurt you to learn a little science some day. You might find it useful.
“Well Craig, Will you be going to your Mothers to celebrate the religious holiday of Christmas?” No, Richard. She’ll be at my home, along with my father-in-law. So what’s your point, Richard? Do you even have one? I hope you are not trying to imply that Bible-thumping fundamentalist bigots are the only people who celebrate Christmas? Because they’re not. Mainline Christians celebrate it to. But I don’t expect you to know that.
BTW, December 25th isn’t the birthday of Christ. It’s a day some pope chose to celebrate it and diminish the winter solstice celebration practiced by the pagans. Nobody knows what day Christ was born on. They aren’t even sure what year it was. There, now you learned something.
