 This video is one in a series promoting the congressional candidacy of Republican Terri McCormick, who’s running in a district that includes Green Bay and Appleton, Wis.
 The best part of the laughably contrived and poorly acted dialogue is where the bartender refers to something he thinks John Wayne said at the Alamo.
 Notice, too, that the crowd in the bar greets Terri before she’s even visible coming through the doorway.
 This is funny stuff:

As someone who grew up in Iowa, I know a little about John Wayne. As punishment, my Dad used to make me watch John Wayne movies with him. I didn’t care for it much at the time, but looking back, its one of my favorites memories.
Anyway, the bartender’s quote refers to the 1960 movie, “The Alamo” I can’t find a youtube clip of that scene, but here is an audio clip of John Wayne giving that speech from the movie.
