Paranoiacs still think Obama wants to take away their guns

No matter how many times the Obama administration disavows any intention to take away people’s firearms, the bedwetters who quake at things that go bump in the night refuse to believe it, as we see HERE.

Given B. Hussein Obama’s pattern of broken promises and lies, I wouldn’t trust what he says any further than I could throw the White House. Read the following:
In fact, I knew Obama during the mid-1990s, and his answers to IVI’s question on guns fit well with the Obama that I knew. Indeed, the first time I introduced myself to him he said “Oh, you are the gun guy.”
I responded “Yes, I guess so.” He simply responded that “I don’t believe that people should be able to own guns.”
When I said it might be fun to talk about the question sometime and about his support of the city of Chicago’s lawsuit against the gun makers, he simply grimaced and turned away, ending the conversation.

is pat really that naive? Who doesn’t know how many times did obama say that here in Illinois? And how many times did he vote against guns? After hearing so many lies, it’s not called paranoia, it’s called being a realist!

Gun people are paranoid. I will never forget driving through Central Illinois in the fall of 2002. Along the road were a bunch of signs telling people to enjoy the hunting season, because it was going to be the last one in Illinois, since it appeared that a Democrat (a Chicago Democrat!) was going to be elected governor. I get telemarketing calls from the NRA all the time, and they try to ratchet up the fear of gunowners with their misleading, factually-challenged “questions.” I love guns, and am a gunowner, but the pro-gun lobby is over the top and instills this fear to ensure their own economic survival.
