A forcefully eloquent young girl

 Severn Cullis-Suzuki, who is now 30 years old, was just 12 when she delivered this speech at an Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992.
 She has since earned degrees in ecology and evolutionary biology from Yale and is now a renowned environmental activist, lecturer, television host and author.
