Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.”

Masterful? You need better standards Pat. Trying to paint the WSJ (at this point probably the best newspaper in the world) as an organ of right wing ideology is ludicrous but I suppose it sells well in the fever swamp of the left.
If John Fund responds, I’ll post it.

Mike Carroll: Do I really have to explain to you that there’s a big difference between the news pages of the Wall Street Journal and the paper’s editorials? The Journal’s editorial stance has long been one of right-wing extremism, and it’s only getting worse since Rupert Murdoch bought the paper.

Barney should know, as he is both.

  • 4. Mike Carroll  |  February 5th, 2010 at 1:23 pm

Uh no Pat, I do understand that and have for about a half century now. The WSJ editorial stance has “long long been one of right- wing extremism…” I know you are a liberal but I never suspected that you had lurched that far to the left where all reason takes a holiday. Sad.

Mike Carroll: If you’re such a big fan of the WSJ, you’ll probably also enjoy Murdoch’s other media properties. Try the New York Post, for example. Now there’s a classy paper!

Barney Frank explains how the Right Wing Noise machine operates.

This isn’t for the Choir, We know damned well what Rep. Frank is saying.
We see it HERE every day of the week and thrice on Sundays.
This is for the American people as a whole.

This is now on the Congressional record for all of the WingBats who hate facts to see. Watch Them Rant !

This is the same Barney Frank who strongly assured us that there was NO PROBLEM with Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac, and that NO additional regulation of them was needed. See: http://patterico.com/2009/03/19/barney-frank-cannot-hide-his-fannie-role/

That isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement of Frank’s intellect, honesty, or his forecasting accuracy, is it?

  • 8. Peanut  |  February 5th, 2010 at 4:33 pm

Nope, There’s no problem here other than partisan wingbats perpetuating the same old tired myths which have been proven time and again to be either outright lies, Misdirections, manipulation of the facts or just plain old Obfuscation as above .

Nevertheless, I’m sure FoxNews will have your check in the mail forthwith for being such a good little storm trooper, SNuss

By the way, Where’s your girlfriend L’il DaveydePoo ?
Stinking up some other blog no doubt.

Peanut long before you dug yourself out from under your rock, we had many videos of Barney Fudd saying what good shape Freddie and Fanny were in. So no lies there. Also, it is know fact that Barney worked to loosen lending standards. I guess if you saying something enough times in your head Peanut you start to believe that Elmer never said these things but if you want we can review the facts.

Our Cyberspace Idiot is even more delusional, than usual.
I didn’t use Fox as a source. If he had any glimmer of intelligence, he COULD try to rebut any errors in my post. But, spewing vile Leftist blather is about as much as such a limited mind can handle.

Good points, Snuss. The Banking Queen. Flame on, Barney!

“By the way, Where’s your girlfriend L’il DaveydePoo ?

Can anyone imagine how fudgenut came up with this????

Well Mr. Franks might need to look into his closet and make sure it’s in order before making statements about anyone else. But Mr. Franks is very good at blowing smoke to cover for the disastrous policies con-cocked by the progressive side of the isle!

  • 13. Peanut  |  February 6th, 2010 at 1:20 am

Oh look at all of those cute little wingbats squawking like a bunch of ducks in flight.

Wonder who got ‘em all riled up like that :)

realfoxnews, I left that out because at least it something that distracted him from doing any more damage to the financial system.

  • 16. Peanut  |  February 6th, 2010 at 9:48 am

English: ” Barney Frank calls Wall Street Journal editorialist a liar and coward ”

    Re-Thugery lesson number four ….

Quote Unrealfoxnews : “DingDong #9 Don’t forget about him and his boyfriend and call serive. ”

Quote DingDongdong dong dong ” :realfoxnews, I left that out because at least it something that distracted him from doing any more damage to the financial system.”

Now, Who can translate the above into coherent English ?

    Anyone ?

    Crickets !

  • 17. DingDong  |  February 6th, 2010 at 11:18 am

I’ll put in language Peanut will understand. Elmer was busy with keeping his hos in line, so he did not have time to screw up the financial system anymore than he did. mmmkay, dipwad. Now Peanut go upstairs and mommy will make you sandwich.

  • 18. SNuss  |  February 6th, 2010 at 12:15 pm

Since Peanut, our Cyberspace Idiot can’t, or won’t, recognize the reference, I’ll help his deluded, and undersized, brain.

Barney Frank’s one-time “roommate” was running a male prostitution ring out of Frank’s apartment.

Frank also had a “spouse” who was an executive at Fannie Mae.
