    Speaking of really weird stuff in politics…this borders on the asinine. I’m probably misunderstanding this, but we might have to have two Senate elections in Illinois for the same seat within a very short timespan.

    Borders on the asinine? No, it’s full blown lunacy. There’s another legislator’s pension we’ll have to pay for, in this case after only months on the job.
