Republicans are pretty vague on where they would make federal spending cuts

There’s a lot of evasive rhetoric here, but not much in the way of specifics.

More on this matter HERE.

And Ezra Klein explains HERE that spending cuts aren’t as easy as some people think.

Its fairly obvious these liberals are blind and they have no idea how to govern.

Check out the following web site detailing the House Republican led YouCut program.

By my count, the Republicans have proposed over $100B in savings!

Meanwhile the Democrats have flat out given up on any idea of having a budget because they don’t know how to control spending. But these liberal pundits are falsely accusing the Republicans for not having any cost cutting ideas? What a joke!!

  2. Of course, aren’t they always? Everybody wants heaven, nobody wants to die.

  3. The Republicans can cut the budget by $100B just by eliminating the Democratic Party and the elected officials in Washington

  4. Wow! $100B. In terms of the $13,000,000,000,000 debt, this is a drop int he bucket. It is as laughable as McCain wanting to eliminate earmarks to reduct the current budget deficit.

The sad reality is that government doesn’t even know how to get rid of government. In 1979, Congress wanted to terminate a bureau and couldn’t find the legal means to do so. It is not a surprise the Republicans don’t know what to cut. They are pretty good as spending, though!

  5. Terry – The budget deficit leads to the debt.

  6. Terry, yes I understand. $100B is still not a lot of money with a 4,000,000,000,000 budget. Granted, I am in favor of much lower spending.
