Roger: Watch the video again. I think it’s fairly clear that she’s signing the flags. The sticks are thin and would require more time and care to sign with even a modicum of legibility. But she’s dashing off those autographs pretty quickly.
Moreover, I haven’t seen any conservative blogs arguing that she signed the sticks rather than the flags. In fact, you’re the first person I know to offer such a defense.
Pat: I am perplexed by your comment that protecting free speech makes you a liberal. Definitionally, a political liberal wants more government and a political conservative (classic liberal) wants less. As a Libertarian, I support free-speech, as well, but we have completely opposite views in the role of government. Please advise.
