Light blogging today

I’m going to be away from the store for much of the day today, so blogging will be intermittent at best — at least until late afternoon.

That means that comments from newcomers and comments containing more than one link might not be published for a while, because the software automatically blocks them until I give approval.

That’s just the way the system works. So don’t start up with that whiny persecution-complex stuff we’ve seen here before about how Cunningham hasn’t got the guts to publish comments with which he disagrees. Hey, I disagree with most of the more than 50,000 comments that have been published here in the past three years.

Tit for Tat you should give it a rest Peenut,
“Today, a two-count complaint and warrant was filed charging Norman Leboon with
threatening to kill United States Congressman Eric Cantor and his family, and threatening to kill Congressman Eric Cantor, who is an official of the United States, announced United States Attorney Michael L. Levy and FBI Special Agent in Charge Jan Fedarcyk. As set forth in the affidavit to the complaint and warrant, in or about late March, 2010, Leboon created and then transmitted a YouTube video to Google over the internet, in which he threatened to kill Congressman Cantor and his family. No harm came to the Congressman or his family as a result of Leboon’s threats.”

seems like on this blog all the name calling comes from the progrssives.

  5. Can someone decipher the above comment for me? I don’t understand Communist hate speech.

  6. Peanut,

You need to give it a rest man. Unless you want to indict all Muslims for the action of their extremist fringe or all liberals for the actions of your extremist fringe you CANNOT try to do the same for conservatives or tea partiers etc.

I know liberals love to avoid personal responsibility for an individuals actions, but that doesn’t fly. Crazy people are crazy and violent people are violent. You can’t indict any group for an individuals behavior. Instead indict the individual, prosecute the individual but don’t make yourself look like a fool.

Your logic would be just as correct if you tried to indict the fast food chain of choice for the Arizona maniac as somehow culpable because he ate their cheeseburger prior to going on his crazy shooting rampage.

  7. I don’t own a rifle or any other firearm.

The only prophets I know are in the bible.

I have earned a rest and so I will take a rest.

If you want to stop the hate, start with yourself.
