Obamaphobes go bonkers over president’s plans for a birthday party/fundraiser in Chicago

Ever since the dawn of expensive media campaigns in American politics, all of our presidents, Republicans and Democrats alike, have engaged in fundraising for their own re-election campaigns or to benefit their respective political parties — even in times of war or economic distress.

But this little historical fact seems not to have occurred to the loonies who are making a big fuss over President Obama’s trip to Chicago, where he’ll celebrate his 50th birthday tomorrow with a fundraiser.

See HERE and HERE and HERE.

Of course, what really bothers the right-wingers is the possibility that Obama will have a lot of money with which to run for re-election next year. That just annoys the hell out of them.

By the way, George W. Bush attended 338 fundraisers in his eight years in office, during which America was at war almost the whole time. That’s an average of 3.5 fundraisers a month.

  1. Karl writes: “I know RRSTAR won’t approve or publish this , as that’s the way sheep news works.”

Karl knows as much about the qualifications for getting crap like his approved and published here as he knows about politics — nothing.

  2. Yea, what is an Obamphobes? “Obamphobes go bonkers” Is that the speeling George Soro uses?

  3. Let Them Eat Cake! DNC Blows Off Unions For Obama’s 50th Birthday Bash!

    Say it isn’t true!

“He also stated that the venue where the Obama Birthday Bash is taking place is a non union venue”

  4. Oooh! The right-wingers suddenly are very sympathetic to the unions!

What’s next? Sympathy for poor folks? Support for gay rights? Concern for the environment?

  5. Nope, I was a union member, just pointing out the lefts hypocrisy.
Geeze Pat I thought you were smarter that that, but you’ll most likely tell me I am always wrong.
