Romney’s job-creation claims are becoming ever more modest with each passing day

In light of fact-checking that REFUTES Mitt Romney’s claim to have created more than 100,000 jobs when he was at the helm of Bain Capital, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee is adjusting that claim downward, as we see HERE:

So, over the course of two weeks, Romney has gone from “over 100,000 jobs” to “tens of thousands” to “thousands.”

By next week, I expect Romney to tell us, “I probably created a handful of jobs.”

The criticism and scrutiny of Romney’s record of mass private-sector layoffs appears to be taking a toll on the Republican’s rhetoric.

  1. You will be happy to know that Obama is finally creating jobs, but perhaps not the way he intended.

I heard a commentator this morning who said the unemployment rate is slowly dropping and business activity is picking up… because more and more people are starting to realize that Obama will be out of office soon. I am certainly buying lots of cheap stocks right now on this belief.

  2. There’s a reason why Willard is called a “job cremator”.
