A really, really dumb campaign ad

The ad below, a bit of racist drivel from Republican Pete Hoekstra, who’s challenging incumbent Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow of Michigan, has been described by one GOP consultant as “really, really dumb” (see HERE).

On the YouTube video of this garbage, the comments function has been disabled, presumably because of all the negative response.

.

ADDENDUM: Hoekstra is such a dimwit that he didn’t even claim dibbies on  the Web domain name petehoekstra.com.

Consequently, the domain name was claimed by political opponents of Hoekstra (see HERE).

  1. wilson: Granted, that ad to which you’ve linked is stupid, but it’s not quite as offensive and impolitic as the one from wingnut Hoekstra.

  2. You find that link stupid? You probably come to the same conclusion each time you look in a mirror.
You know what is offensive? Illinois politics, I’d run for governor, but I don’t think I could do the time.
You don’t find it offensive that our federal government spends money like drunken sailors (I don’t mean to offend any sailors).
You don’t find it offensive that budget hasn’t been passed in over 1000 days. “Having failed to get a budget passed in the two preceding years, Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) announced on Friday that he wouldn’t push a budget this year, either”

I hate that saying. A drunken sailor is spending his own hard-earned money. Our politicians spend the hard-earned money of other people until it runs out, then they print more and deficit spend until it ruins the country (historically speaking. We’ll see about the U.S. eventually).
