Uh-0h! The anti-science wing of the Republican Party isn’t going to like THIS, especially since a government agency is involved in the science.
A U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) team has found that a sharp jump in earthquakes in America’s heartland appears to be linked to oil and natural gas drilling operations.
As hydraulic fracturing has exploded onto the scene, it has increasingly been connected to earthquakes. Some quakes may be caused by the original fracking — that is, by injecting a fluid mixture into the earth to release natural gas (or oil). More appear to be caused by reinjecting the resulting brine deep underground.

The people who believe in global warming (man made) are getting their information from scientists. They are not getting it from Al Gore, or a political party, although Gore and the Dems have made it a legislative issue.
The people who don’t believe global warming is man-made or that it exists are getting their information from a few science dissenters, political parties and partisan think tanks.
I actually wish Al Gore hadn’t taken up GW as an issue to identify himself with because it lends credibility to the false idea that it’s something the left believes. Nevertheless, the issue is now in public discussion where it might not have been otherwise.
