Hard to be critical of the junior Senator from Wisconsin when you look at the senior Senator from Wisconsin and his long and distinguished career of both doing and saying nothing.
Mr. Cunningham’s video recalling Mr. Romney’s 2007 remarks about going after bin Laden reminded me that this time last year the President stated that there was no need to “spike the football” over bin Laden’s death. And yet this year the President has sensed a need to spike the football after the game has been played. But this is entirely understandable – it is his one unequivocal achievement of the past 3.5 years. I find his anniversary media blitz to be a sharp contrast to the “no I in Team Six” attitude of the guys that actually risked their lives to bring a successful outcome to – as Bill Clinton put it – the President’s “hard and honorable” decision.
Alec Baldwin is a hilarious doofus. I really hope he runs for office someday.
