Another weekly roundup of Romney’s falsehoods

There’s lots of good stuff in the latest edition of our regular Friday feature on Mitt Romney’s aversion to truth.

As usual, OUR SOURCE is progressive blogger Steve Benen. Be sure to check the bottom of his post for links to 16 previous collections of Mitt’s mendacity.

  1. I can see why you chose Romney to pick on. It would be impossible to keep up with all of Obama’s lies.

  2. No, Gail. I chose Romney to pick on because he’s the most dishonest presidential candidate in my lifetime — and I’m pretty old.

Even the most recent poll commissioned by Fox News, a conservative outfit, shows that Americans see Obama as more honest than Romney.

  3. Pat,
Gail is right. You are not thinking clearly. You point out that your view is unabashedly liberal and by that you apparently mean Obama can do no wrong. Think harder Pat. I could fill a landfill with his lies in the last 3 years. He has the least transparent administration in history. But pretending he doesn’t makes you sound foolish and full of Kool-Aid. I look forward to reading more comical blog posts here. Keep up the propaganda!

  4. Sue: The fact that I am “unabashedly liberal” does NOT mean that I think Obama “can do no wrong.” I have faulted him on various occasions, as have lots of my fellow liberals.

Meanwhile, the fact remains — as even Fox News polls will attest — that Americans generally see Obama as more honest than Romney. And with good reason.

But, hey, you keep drinking that right-wing Kool-Aid, y’hear?

  5. Willard loves to bamboozle the public. He would have been one heck of a snake oil sales associate.

  6. I LOVE THIS…JUST FOUND THE SITE….YOU ARE RIGHT PAT…OBAMA IS HONEST….WHERE WILLARD IS GRASPING WITH THE LIES TO WIN IN THE POLES AND THE ELECTION..IT WONT HAPPEN..KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Stop shouting, it hurts my eyes.

  8. janet: Thanks for the kind remarks, but you should refrain (as expdoc suggests) from “shouting” — that is, using all capital letters.

    We frown on that here.
