At about this time yesterday, Applesauce published its 9,000th post. That comes out to an average of more than five posts a day, 365 days a year, since this enterprise was launched on Jan. 7, 2008.
I’m also glad to report that August saw our second highest monthly level of readership yet. (The highest was this past January.) I’ve lost count of the overall number of page-views here over the past 57 months, but it’s somewhere around two million.
The number of comments we’ve published is in the tens of thousands, but an exact count is impossible to determine because of several factors I’m not going to bother to explain here.
Anyway, my thanks to all of our readers and commenters for helping to keep this thing going for so long.
