Weird reactions among right-wingers to President Obama’s re-election continue apace almost a week later — blind denialism, wacky conspiracy theories, etc. — but few can compare with what the pastor of a megachurch in Dallas said even before the election.
Robert Jeffress (above) wants you to know that he doesn’t think Obama actually is the Antichrist, but he’s pretty sure the president is “paving the way for the future reign of the Antichrist.”

I have to admit I am confused by guys like this. I thought Evangelical Christians looked forward to the second coming of Christ? This must necessarily be preceded by the rise of the Anti-Christ.
