The TV spot that spawned a new verb in the political lexicon

The death last week of former federal judge and conservative legal  scholar Robert Bork (HERE) brings to mind his ill-fated nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1987.

This television attack ad narrated by actor Gregory Peck gave rise to the political term “borked.”
