This was inevitable: Right-wing kook says federal government was involved in Newtown shootings

Susan Shannon (above), whose blog is “dedicated to seeing the political landscape through the lens of Christianity,” SAYS she’s figured out the truth about the murderous shooting rampage at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.:

I believe there is evidence of more than one shooter.  I believe this was a PLANNED event- specifically to get the UN Small Arms Treaty signed.  The father of the shooter is Peter Lanza, rumored to be scheduled to testify on the international LIBOR scandal.  Guess who else is rumored to be scheduled to testify on the LIBOR scandal?  Father of the BATMAN theater shooter.  Amazing coincidence?  We will see.  The LIBOR scandal is a massive, worldwide network of banks, the Federal Reserve and highly position individuals such as Tim Geihtner and Ben Bernanke that are being accused of manipulating LIBOR rates to gain better market positions.   Just some of the Banks involved are:  the Canadian branches of the Royal Bank of Scotland, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan Bank, and Citibank, as well as ICAP (Intercapital), an interdealer broker.[37   It also mentions Bank of America & Barclays.   It is ugly to its roots and VERY powerful people are involved.

I believe our GOVERNMENT shot those kids and teachers and used Adam Lanza and his family to pull it off.  They might have killed two birds with one stone.  One:  If these men are involved in the LIBOR scandal, they can manipulate their testimony.  Two:  they get gun control.  How very, very clever and efficient of them, right?    I hate to say it.  I hate to put myself ‘out there’ with this because I KNOW how I will be attacked.  But I don’t do this for anyone’s approval.  I do it to help the American People.

Sure, we can laugh at such nonsense, but ours is a nation of millions of gullible conspiratorialists. Witness the fact that Birtherism still endures in some quarters.

Susan Shannon’s wacky theory is likely to find fertile ground in the minds of some paranoiacs, especially those who are predisposed to worry about the government taking away their guns.

  1. Her elevator is stuck between floors.

  2. Where is she defined as a right wing kook? I know of others who would have similar thoughts and none of them consider themselves right wing. This fits in with 9/11 truthers and such, I don’t know if either side can claim all of these kooks.

  3. Carl: She calls herself “conservative.” She embraces all manner of crazy right-wing theories. And she declares herself “disgusted at the way the Progressives have ruined our once-great nation.”

    Ergo, she’s a right-wing kook.

  4. I can top that, Pat!

Take a look at this article in Veterans Today:

Israeli death squads involved in Sandy Hook bloodbath: Intelligence analyst
by Gordon Duff and Press TV
    http://www.veteranstoday.com/2012/12/19/super-viral-israeli-death-squads-involved-in-sandy-hook-bloodbath-intelligence-analyst/

Godknows that I am no pal of Zionism, but this makes me wonder: Is Duff working as an agent-provocateur for the Mossad?

  5. RedRover: Wow! That one’s a doozy!

  6. RedRover: My quickie research indicates that Gordon Duff and his anti-Semitic Web site Veterans Today have long been promoters of theories claiming that Israelis and Jewish members of the Bush Administration carried out the 9/11 attacks as a false flag operation to provoke a war against Israel’s enemies.

  7. Just a note on your evaluation of Duff and his website:

You’ll never get me to endorse or defend Duff and his various positions.

However, I shrink from using “anti-semitism” to label anyone who is not an out-and-out Nazi.

There are no shortage of critics of Israel, even Jewish ones, who have been labelled wrongly as being anti-Semitic. Discussion of this phenomenon here:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism_of_Israel#Criticism_stifled_by_accusations_of_antisemitism

This Zionist tactic makes a mockery of the horrors of centuries of real “anti-semitism” and the suffering that it is responsible for. It’s kind of like Holocaust denial in that respect. Norm Finkelstein called it an abuse of history.
