Last Friday, I had fun HERE mocking Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan for the inimitable — and, yes, sometimes graceful — way she displays her lack of keen political insight.
But it’s not going to be so easy to mock Noonan’s latest column. I can’t even offer an excerpt that provides more than a vague hint of the senselessness of the piece. It’s just a bunch of pseudo-clever passages piled atop one another.
But, hey, don’t take my word for it. Read it for yourself. And if you can find a political moral in THESE 19 PARAGRAPHS OF NONSENSE, please share it with us.
Have to admit you are absolutely correct on this one, Pat. That column made no sense at all. I don’t even get the point she is trying to convey, or even the general idea. She just kind of jumps from one bland statement to the next. Perhaps Noonan was drunk when she wrote it. Its the only plausible explanation.
