Some Tennessee state legislators are pretty dumb

THIS is funny:

A few Tennessee lawmakers apparently inquired whether a new sink [above] at the state capitol designed for custodial use was a sink for Muslims to wash their feet in before prayer, the Associated Press reported Monday. The lawmakers were reassured that it is simply a “mop sink.”

  1. Now that that the lawmakers brought it to light it would make a soothing foot bath for their barefoot citizens living in the hills.

  2. Neftali

Steverino – I would think you would have an appreciation for barefoot citizens. After all, when Bill Clinton became President it was no secret that he initially had a very lax dress code policy which his staffers took advantage of by frequently wearing sandals around the White House.

  3. Brian Opsahl

So that’s how he created 23 million jobs…cool
When those folks from Texas ran things I hear Bush told them all to leave there brains at home…no wonder we lost at the Alamo

  4. Hey Neftali I’m wearing sandals and shorts as I read your comment.

  5. That’s just rubbing it in. 🙂

  6. Another thing wasn’t Bush wearing a t-shirt and boxers when he choked on a pretzel?

  7. Brian Opsahl

    Jesus,wore sandles…just sayin

  8. I’m wearing jammies, which I often do when I ain’t going nowhere. My comfy attire is the secret to my brilliant wordsmithing. During my many years of wearing a tie at the office, the flow of blood to my outsized brain was impeded, thus diminishing my chances of winning Pulitzer Prizes. But now I’m free to shoot for a Nobel.

  9. Go for it Pat! I hear the Nobel committee has lowered it’s standards as of late. You definitely have a fighting chance.

  10. Brian Opsahl

Wow Doc that was a low blow…
    Who lives longer …Doctors or….Drunks

  11. ????

  12. Some?

  13. Brian Opsahl

OK i see more old drunks than old Doctors…just an observation. if you point your finger at someone (Doc) their is always 3 pointing back at you…

Lets see if your smart enough to figure out what i mean by that…?
