Right-wing video says contraceptives make women less attractive and thus turn men into homosexuals

It says HERE that the video below, which was produced by a group of nuns, “cites a 1970s-era study in which a male monkey became ‘confused’ when female monkeys were injected with birth control drugs, and began to have “sexual interactions” with other males in the tribe…”

I couldn’t watch more than a couple minutes of this nonsense. Some of their extrapolated conclusions are hysterical, such as “99% of women use contraceptives and therefore are undesirable to men”. Seriously? Most of the women I knew who took contraceptives had the opposite reaction. If they weren’t sexually attractive to men they wouldn’t have needed contraception, right? And most married couples used contraception because they WERE sexually attracted to each other, not the opposite.

What would we expect from women who have taken a vow of celibacy? Think about this: Did the celibate nuns refuse to take contraceptives to be MORE attractive to men or did they take contraceptives (contrary to Church teaching) to be LESS attractive to men?
