Why did the Emmys show memorialize Cory Monteith but not Larry Hagman?

InMemoriam

The late actor Larry Hagman was famed for his work in television and movies over the course of 50 years, often in lead roles.

The late actor Cory Monteith was famed solely for the ensemble role he played in one television show, which has had a run of four years so far.

But in the recent Emmy Award telecast, Monteith was commemorated while Hagman was not, though they both died within the past year.

Esther Zuckerman SUGGESTS that these awards shows change their memoriam segments or get rid of them altogether.
